The 9th session of the writing competition was launched on January 2015 where 480 students participated from 30 different schools from around the Sultanate. Students were invited to submit a maximum of 500 words, in English or Arabic, on the subject of ‘My Home Town’ The entries were judged according to four age groups: 5 to 8 years, 9 to 11 years, 12 to 14 years and 15 to 18 years. 54 Winners were presented with great prizes and the opportunity to see their work in print in a book under the title “My Country” The prize giving held at the Al Qurum Commercial Complex on 23 May, 2015.
