We are a charity organization that was founded in 2002 and have been dedicated to helping change the lives of families across the Sultanate ever since. In 2006, we became officially registered at the Ministry of Social Development which we currently operate under according to Ministerial Decree No. (2006/76). We aim to create a radical change in the lives of our families and individuals. We do so by empowering them and giving them the tools and qualifications necessary for them to manage their lives in a sustainable and secure manner.
“Improving the lives of the underprivileged in the Sultanate, and encouraging giving through positive and constructive partnership with donors and those in need”.
“A better life for every needy”.
The following core operating values influence the culture and public image of Dar Al Attaa as an effective community-based organization serving a wide variety of individuals and families.
Based on the words of the Prophet (PBUH): “Be merciful to those on the earth and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.” We value the principle of communication and compassion with those in need to secure a decent life for them and help them financially to overcome the difficulties and obstacles in life to live with the consent and dignity.
We proceed in our dealings with the needy fully aware of the fact that they are the true donors, they indeed provide us with the sense of happiness and the opportunity to sense the joy of giving and peace of mind.
Being a charity we are fully aware of the importance of the principle of transparency and the accountability, we are committed to both donors and those in need of integrity and responsibility in our use of available funding for the association, which includes our commitment to keep our administrative costs in lowest level possible.
We believe in the value that we work together for the togetherness of everyone. As a charity, we believe in partnering with all relevant parties in the process of giving to the needy such as the charitable foundations, civil and government organizations and all components of the society for the development of society.
We seek to help the largest possible number of people in need by the physical resources available regardless of race, religion, or tribe, or the sex of the needy.
We realize that what we aim to join hands with all the components of society to achieve the vision will not be achieved without the spreading and establishing the awareness of giving in the community
