Maktabati “My Library” is the first mobile library in the Sultanate of Oman. This project aims to encourage children to read and to love reading. The Maktabati bus takes four journeys a week to various schools and public places. Maktabati visited 30 schools during 2015, in 14 wilayats around the Sultanate. A total of 21,824 books were bought by the children during the year.
