Under its relentless efforts in helping underprivileged students and with the start of the new academic year 2017-2018, Dar Al Atta’a was able of providing many school supplies, stationery, and uniforms. That is done through voluntary contributions by “Al Hadash National” Company, and cash donations given by “National Life & General Insurance Company SAOC” of 6000 Rial; 1500 OR is specified for stationary, another 1500 OR for school uniforms, and 3000 OR is allocated for school meals. Also, sorting donations had continued for a week and it was distributed on schools and Dar Al Atta’a families depending on needs.
The number of benefited schools this year have reached 69 schools, and the number of students benefited of stationary alone is 4897 students from schools and 721 students from Dar Al Atta’a families. On the other hand, the number of students who benefited from receiving school uniforms has reached 2198 students, alongside 877 from Dar Al Atta’a families.
The Chairperson of Dar Al Atta’a organization, Honorable Maryam Al Zadjali, had stated that Dar Al Atta’a provided school supplies with the start of the academic year in every year. This support comes as part of the “Student Care Program” that the organization adopts. Furthermore, Dar Al Atta’a organizes an annual campaign named “Sponsor a Student” and “Change for Change”. The chairperson extends her thanks to all the supporting companies that continually contribute in making the Student Care Program succeed.
